Last week, five ViCom members attended the 4th International Conference on Prominence in Language (ICPL), which is the conference organized by the Cologne CRC 1252 “Prominence in Language”. The conference took many different linguistic perspectives on prominence with a strong focus on the prosodic and multimodal prominence perspective.
The talks and posters sparked fruitful discussions and offered a great venue to engage in discourse with many international scholars.
