On December 12, 2024, as part of the ViCom annual meeting, our PhD students had the opportunity to attend a workshop to help them prepare for their postdoc phase. The workshop was led by Lisa Grow from Göttingen and included an overview of DFG research funding programmes for early career postdocs. It also covered career planning in the context of research funding. Finally, Lisa Grow provided general information on how to write a proposal.
We hope that this workshop gave our PhD students a better idea of what to expect in the next phase of their careers.
