We are excited to announce the publication of the DGS-LEX position paper, a key outcome of the first ViCom project workshop, “Establishing a lexical database for psycholinguistic research on German Sign Language (DGS)” Authored by Patrick Trettenbrein, Jan Bümmerstede, Thomas Finkbeiner, Pia Gehlbach, Nina-Kristin Meister, Annika Schiefner, Petra Schumacher, Door Spruijt, Markus Steinbach, and Pamela Perniss, this paper outlines a roadmap for the collaborative development of DGS-LEX—a centralized lexical database for psycholinguistic research on DGS, modeled after ASL-LEX.
