We are pleased to announce that the DGfS Summer School 2024 will take place at the University of Göttingen from 12 to 23 August. The theme of the school will be “Form Meaning Mismatches in Spoken and Visual Communication“.
Not only will there be lectures by leading international experts in the fields of semantics/pragmatics and syntax/morphology, but a large part of the courses will focus on visual communication.
We will offer 24 one-week advanced courses and 4 two-week basic courses. There will also be several poster sessions where students can present their research.
The participation fee is 50 EUR.
We invite early PostDocs, PhD students, Masters students and advanced undergraduates with a linguistic background to attend the Summer School.
All courses will be taught in English.
Sign language interpretation (ASL / International Sign) will be provided for one course per session if required.
