PhD Candidate
Sezanur Sözer is a PhD candidate at the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS), where she is part of the DISCAVA project. She holds a BA in Linguistics from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey and an MA in Language Sciences from the University of Parma, Italy. Her work has mainly focused on sign language, Deaf signers and the relationship between linguistic structure and language processing. She is mainly interested in sign language linguistics, syntax and semantics interfaces, and experimental research with Deaf language users.
