Postdoc Researcher

Celina I. von Eiff is a researcher in cognitive and social
neuroscience, with a focus on emotion perception in individuals with cochlear implants (i.e., hearing prostheses). Her research examines how emotional signals are perceived and integrated across sensory modalities, particularly auditory and visual cues. By investigating audiovisual integration under conditions of altered sensory input, her work aims to elucidate adaptive mechanisms of perception in the human brain. She is based at the Department of General Psychology and
Cognitive Neuroscience at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
