My name is Aaron Wong Yiu Leung. I am an experienced Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL) teacher and an advocate for the Deaf community. I teach HKSL courses, tutor Deaf students, and support Deaf culture and empowerment through community-oriented roles.

I hold an MA in Linguistics and a BA in Linguistics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as additional professional training in Sign Linguistics and related Deaf Studies courses, including the Asia Pacific Sign Linguistics Research and Training Program (APSL).

In addition to teaching, I have supported sign linguistics research projects, including data collection, lesson development, and training participants to use research tools (e.g., ELAN) and to conduct sign language analysis. I have also delivered field training in Cambodia and Indonesia for Deaf research teams and participants on topics such as sign language linguistics, syntax, classifier systems, and research methodology.
